Welcome to SpideyWrite. By using our Chrome extension and website, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SpideyWrite ("Service", "we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this Service.

2. Description of Service

SpideyWrite provides:

• AI-powered writing assistance and content generation
• Text proofreading and editing suggestions
• Integration with various websites through a Chrome extension
• Free and paid tiers with different usage limits shown on our pricing page

3. User Accounts

a) Account Creation

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service

b) Account Security

• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security

4. Subscription and Billing

a) Free Tier

• Limited to 100 credits per month
• Monthly token limits apply for free users
• Credits and usage reset on a rolling monthly schedule based on your account creation date
• Usage limits are shown on our pricing page and in your dashboard

b) Paid Subscriptions

• Plan details and pricing are displayed on our pricing page
• Subscriptions are billed through Stripe until cancelled
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe

c) Refunds

• If something is not working as expected, contact ziadtamim.400@gmail.com
• Refunds, if any, are handled on a case-by-case basis

d) Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• You will retain access to paid features until the end of the billing period

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use SpideyWrite to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
• Violate any intellectual property rights
• Transmit spam, viruses, or malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Use the Service for any automated or bulk processing without prior written consent
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
• Generate content that violates third-party terms of service

6. Intellectual Property

a) Your Content

• You retain all rights to the text you input into SpideyWrite
• You grant us a limited license to process your content for the purpose of providing the Service
• We do not claim ownership of AI-generated content, but you are responsible for ensuring its appropriate use

b) Our Content

• The SpideyWrite extension, website, and all related intellectual property are owned by us
• Our trademarks, logos, and brand features may not be used without permission
• All rights not expressly granted are reserved

7. AI-Generated Content

• AI-generated content is provided "as is" without guarantees of accuracy or quality
• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before use
• We are not liable for any consequences arising from your use of AI-generated content
• AI-generated content may not be unique and could be similar to content generated for other users

8. Third-Party Services

Our Service integrates with:

• DeepSeek AI: For AI processing and content generation
• OpenAI: For GPT-5 and GPT-4o mini models when selected
• Supabase: For authentication and data management
• Stripe: For payment processing

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• Guarantees of uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free service
• Accuracy, reliability, or quality of any content or information obtained through the Service

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SPIDEYWRITE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data
• Damages resulting from any content obtained from the Service

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SpideyWrite and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claim, demand, loss, or damage, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Content you submit or generate using the Service

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service:

• Immediately, without prior notice, for violation of these Terms
• For fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• At our discretion, with or without cause

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time by posting an updated version on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which SpideyWrite operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
